Tegan will lead a discussion on our health and safety obligations when people are working from home. In addition, she will speak to Health and Safety requirements in the workplace and the need for establishing a Joint Health and Safety Committee and formalized training.
Tegan Slot, R.Kin MSc PhD CRSP
Tegan Slot is a Health and Safety Consultant in the Ottawa area with Public Services Health and Safety Association. Much of Tegan’s early work in occupational health and safety focused on ergonomics and musculoskeletal disorder prevention in acute care and continuing care hospitals and she is now exploring the emerging and impactful area of psychological health and safety. Tegan is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional, Registered Kinesiologist, holds an MSc in Biomechanics, a PhD in Ergonomics and a certificate in Occupational Safety and Health.
